I was searching for something to block the afternoon sunlight coming in through the picture window in the living room. Initially I got a fabric vertical blind which worked well because the metal exterior awning blocked much of the sun's glare. Recently the metal awning broke so after 65 years it came down. I thought I would have take down the fabric vertical blinds and put a roller shade up. So expensive. Then I came across ReSlat. What an awesome idea. Just replace the vertical fabric slats with a solid material. They were perfectly measured, fit exactly right, make the room look better than it did with the fabric slats and the price was was a lot easier for this on a fixed income, retired nurse. And best if all the new slats keep the living room cool in the afternoon blocking out the sun as I had hoped. Thank you!
