Notched Insert for vertical blinds

The notched insert for my vertical blinds is NOT what I ordered or what is in the catalog. Fortunately, although they sent the wrong product, I made it work with my X-acto knife as that was simpler than returning the product. THe picture below is what they sent-seems to work 'OK'!
