I needed to replace my slats in my verticals and received a quote for $3,300.00 from a reputable company. My son then told me I could purchase the slats and redo this job myself and save substantially. I did just that and saved two thousand dollars. The slats (Prescott Dune) I really like since one side is white and will keep my rooms cooler. Easy to install. Really a no brainer if you ask me.
