A: First, measure your existing slats or opening to determine the length you need. Next, decide whether you would like fabric or vinyl slats (both will universally fit your track). Choose your color you would like. Once you have clicked on the "Customize & Buy" button below your color, you will need to enter the exact slat length you will need to the 1/8th" (For example, 82 1/2"). After choosing your size from the drop down, let us know how many you will need by adjusting the quantity. Click add to cart. Upon completing checkout, your order will be transmitted directly to our manufacturing facility where we will begin custom making your slats to the exact size you need.
A: Yes! Your personal information and order data is encrypted and secure. ReSlat.com is Level 1 PCI Compliant and we use 256-bit SSL certificates to keep your order information safe. 256-bit encryption technology is the same exact level of encryption used by large banks to keep your information secure.
A: Adjust your quantity prior to clicking "Add to Cart". You can enter any number of slats at a single size into this quantity box.
A: If your slats have not already fallen out of your existing headrail, then follow these simple steps to easily remove the slats:
- Locate the point where the top of your vertical slat attaches to the insert stem that is hanging out of your headrail.
- Slide a credit card or thin, sturdy object in between your slat and the slat stem (front or back of slat stem, it can vary).
- Slightly raise your slat and it should fall out easily. Some slats can be stubborn and will take a "gentle wiggle"
A: We do not take any deductions. The size you provide to us is the exact size we will manufacture your slats to. For example: If your existing slats are 82 1/2" long exactly, then 82 1/2" is what you should order your new slats at. That is the exact size we will manufacture them to.
A: If you live in the contiguous 48 United States, it will take an average of 10 business days
A: Don't worry... this is the easy part! As long as you would like your slats to be the same length as your existing slats, you will simply measure from the top edge to the bottom edge of the existing slat.
A: Unfortunately, we can not make any guarantees that the slats you order from us will match your existing slats. We do our best to provide accurate photos on our website, however, all monitors depict images differently. Also, even though a color may look like a match, it is very difficult to mimic the wear and tear on existing slats over time. Because our louvers are manufactured brand new, they are typically easily to tell apart from old louvers that have been exposed to sunlight, dust, time, etc...
A: Absolutely! We sincerely believe that a good product will sell itself to our customers. With this thought in mind, we have made many of our slats available for order for as little as $.50 The sample slat we send is an exact cut sample of the actual slat we will send for your complete order. A: Our slats are available in 2 different compositions: PVC and Fabric. Our PVC slats are made of 50% pre-consumer recycled material. Most of the PVC used in these slats is extruded by our manufacturers in Middleton, Wisconsin. It is an extremely durable vinyl product that is built to withstand the elements and last for many years. All of our fabric slats are made of polyester, cotton, and in some cases both.

A: Only if you are having your products shipped to a location in Ohio. If you do live in Ohio, you will be charged both an Ohio state tax and a Butler county tax. According to new state laws, we are required to charge you taxes as if you physically walked into our store and purchased your products. The total tax rate charge is 6.50%. Again, this only applies to Ohio residents.
A: Yes! All of our slats(fabric, solar, and vinyl) have a universal insert notch at the top of them that will allow you to interchange them as you please. If you currently have vinyl slats and want fabric slats, simply order the fabric slats at the exact size as your current vinyl slats. To install, simply insert the new fabric slat into your existing vertical blind track. It is as simple as that!
A: Very rarely. We keep our prices at rock bottom levels so we earn a constant flow of new and repeat customers. With a product like ours, it only makes sense to maintain extremely low prices as opposed to high prices with the occasional coupon or sale. Sign up for our quarterly newsletter to be notified of our rare coupon code offerings!
A: ReSlat.com is a website run by Premier Window Fashions, our family-owned, full service window covering company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A: When customizing the size of your slats you may need a more precise length than our whole number lengths. For example... If your current slats measure 82 1/2" as opposed to 82" then you would need to select 82" as your length and 1/2" as your fraction.
A: Our thinnest vinyl slat is .24 gauge (or approximately .55mm thick) and most are thicker. The thickness of our slats were perfectly designed for durability, weather protection, ease of operation and flexibility. If a slat is too thick or too thin it will crack and break much easier. There is a science to the way our slats are designed. That's why we personally extrude all of our own vinyl for our slats!
A: At this time we are unaware of any company that offers this product anymore. At ReSlat.com, we remain on the lookout for a manufacturer of this product.
A: We do not but if you are interested in 2" faux wood blinds, we recommend our partner site, Cheap Faux Wood Blinds. They sell a high-quality blind at the lowest prices online.
A: If your shipping address is outside the US, we recommend using Borderlinx, an international shipping service that we can ship your slats to and then they will forward it to you. We have many Canadian customers that use this service.
A: Dating back to 1999, we have yet to find a brand of track that our slats will not fit or a brand of slat that will not fit our track. Some specific brand names that work with our product are: Graber, Bali, Levolor, Hunter Douglas, Home Decorators, LouverDrape, Kirsch, Mainstays, Blinds.com, Better Homes and Gardens, Blinds To Go, Signature, Steve's, Blindsgalore, Window Images & More.
